
My Bio - Who is Sashalla Lemond?

Sashalla Lemond is an accomplished executive known for her strategic vision and results-driven leadership, and ability to drive change within organizations. With over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, including investment banking, she has held leadership roles across the front office, back office, and controls functions. Her expertise spans business management, governance, risk strategy, regulatory compliance and most recently workforce engagement strategies.
​In her current role at one of the world’s leading research institutions, Sashalla designs and implements strategies that enhance organizational culture and employee engagement.
​
Previously, as Managing Director at FHLBank SF, Sashalla designed and operationalized scalable, measurable programs that delivered meaningful results. She formalized the bank’s first employee resource groups, introduced new relationships and sponsorship opportunities to support an inclusive workforce, and created structured spaces for connection and professional growth. Additionally, Sashalla served as an International Certification Committee Member for Disability:IN where she contributed her expertise to promote inclusive practices within organizations worldwide.

In 2023 and 2024, Sashalla was named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in San Francisco by Women We Admire. In 2017, she was recognized with the Rising Star Barclays Business Award for her transformative leadership and in 2011 she won Deutsche Bank's Leader of the Year Award for her leadership with building the Jacksonville's Chapter of Women on Wall Street from the ground up.
